The Workshop
Experience Ultimate Leadership, a highly effective leadership workshop created for ministry leaders, pastors, Christian business professionals and community leaders. This unique program was developed by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend to accelerate personal and professional growth. Based on biblical principles of leadership and character development, this one-week intensive has been proven to achieve significant personal revelation and profound shifts in behavior. You will learn new and powerful ways to attain relational and professional success.
Why attend this workshop?
Leadership is more than skills and talents. We lead out of who we are on the inside—our past training and personal experience. In the Bible, the word character means “experience.” What is your character like as a leader? Until how we live and lead people is consistent with what we know and say about God and the Bible, there is room to grow. If you want to take significant steps toward living and leading as the Bible commands, this workshop will be a pivotal experience for you.

The Ultimate is structured to help leaders grow in character, competency, capacity, and confidence. It will help you to
1) face and repair personal issues affecting your work and personal life,
2) deepen understanding of the spiritual growth process,
3) learn and internalize a model of growth that is rooted in biblical theology,
4) go past information-based learning and experience real transformation,
5) gain exposure to other leaders and highly qualified teachers,
6) and leave the experience with a plan for continued personal and professional growth.
What to expect
Ultimate Leadership is a workshop designed to help you break away from distractions and well-established routines that hinder your spiritual and personal growth. Our hope is that you would have time to be still and listen to the Lord. For this reason, there will be no phones or televisions in your room, and no cell-phone calls during sessions.
We require confidentiality. You will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement before you arrive. This is an important ground rule for creating an environment of trust and safety.
What would a typical day look like
You can expect two teaching sessions most days and two to three process groups each day. Professional instructors guide the sessions, therefore the training and structure may change at any time based on the specific needs and goals of the group.
Both the Bible and proven scientific research assert that growth occurs when one combines new information with new experience. For this reason, besides the teaching sessions, you will have daily opportunities to discuss the content and share your life experience with your peers. Trained facilitators will guide these process groups.
Teaching Sessions
The teaching sessions are taught by either Dr. Henry Cloud or Dr. John Townsend. Most teaching sessions are live; a few are DVD presentations.
The Ultimate Leadership experience specializes in the process group model. Process groups are designed to
1) teach a dynamic new approach to overcoming roadblocks to success,
2) establish an environment of personal growth for every participant,
3) create a safe setting for self-expression,
4) and encourage honesty within the group, providing an atmosphere of grace and truth.
Schedule
There may be occasional variations in the schedule, but you can expect to start each day at 7:45 a.m. and end around 5:30 p.m. You will have two or three evenings free. Beyond that, expect to see God and His Body do an amazing work in you!
